Total fixed broadband subscriptions in Eastern Europe reached around 61.5m in 2Q22 – up by 4.0% YoY. The growth from cable modem and fibre optic subscriptions overcompensated the contraction from xDSL connections. The positive trend was supported by active fibre network expansion, alongside aggressive marketing of multiple-play offers highlighting high-speed broadband services.
